Understanding per-minute calling rates

Per-minute pricing can feel opaque. Here’s a plain-English breakdown of what you’re paying for and how to avoid surprises.

What sets the rate

Every destination has a “termination rate” — what the local network charges to deliver the call. Mobile numbers often cost more than landlines, and some countries are simply more expensive to reach.

We pass these through transparently as a per-minute price you can see before you dial.

Prepaid credit vs. monthly bills

With prepaid credit there’s no bill shock. You top up an amount you’re comfortable with, and calls draw down from it. When it runs low, you simply top up again.

Partial minutes round up to the next whole minute, so a 61-second call counts as two minutes.
